What is Chettinad Cuisine?
Chettinad is a region in the southern state; Tamil Nadu of India. It is one of the most famous cuisines of India and mostly for vast use of different kinds of whole and ground spices like coriander seeds, star anise, red chillies, cinnamon, cloves, pepper, etc. Use of these spices not only makes it spicy but aromatic cuisine.
This cuisine is originated by Chettiars’ Community which reside near sea ports of Tamil Nadu.
